For images that are stunningly true to life you need the 3 C's: contrast, colour and clarity. Its Mega Contrast Ratio feature brings out all the shades of grey as well the shades of amber, fuchsia and magenta. A Wide Colour Enhancer pro with LED gamut ensures every pixel is robust and vibrant. Plus 100Hz Motion Plus technology removes edge-blur. Leaving your picture smooth and crisp. Unlike other "slim" televisions, the LED 7000 is one of the slimmest television in the world. Instead of multiple parts molded together, it's one solid, seamless, incredibly beautiful advanced television. Elegantly supported by a unique crystal neck. You'll have no trouble finding a place for it in any room.

Lets see how the sales go :)

However this TV is god damn beautiful, both the image and the actual TV itself.

If it was 1/2 the price then it would be tempting.

For this price you could easily get a 42 inch panasonic plasma, and there is no competition between the two in both size and picture quality stakes! There are also other brands of plasmas and plenty of other LCDs out there which are better value for money.

Personally think you're going have to do better on price than this. Saw this TV in a few retailers (bot larger and small) bundling things in when bought with the TV - E.g. for a an extra £40 you could have a samsung blu ray player.

From what@'ve seen it seems to be the norma nowadays, espeically from bigger stores.

I know the listing says wireless adapter, but does it actually come with it? If so, thats not to bad a price as Sammy are asking a fair bit for that on its own (doesnt come bundled with the 40" version and thats £1050)

May have to see what the 32" looks like as have been contemplating getting the 40", but may be swayed to go smaller (until my sanity returns)

There's nothing special about the price of this TV. I'd go for a Panny 42" any day of the week. Not a lot of TV for that sort of money plus the warranty is on the gimp side.

I've been looking for a large TV to fill a space on my wall. Have been looking at some 40+inch TVs around the net and have some firm favourites. The L.E.D TVs look lovely, but I can't help but debate the cost of the 40 inch one. Seeing this 32 inch is tempting, but I am leaving my decision to the end of the month. Instinct buying put me in a bad position last month.

Erm..... the LED backlighting. Newer technology so still expensive. Only LED TV out that is cheaper is the Sharp one, Sony etc all more expensive.

ARGH, it's not an LED tv, it's an LCD tv with LEDs for backlighting!

LEDs around the edge of the screen are not there for picture quality, they are there to make it thin and sell sets on that premise. Local LED dimming is the superior type of backlighting LCDs.

Back to my point that the only benefit is a thinner screen ;)

Well to be fair, he DID say LED backlighting!

Anyways, as to paying £700 for a 32 incher...

...Daz goes off to hug his 50" 1080P LG plasma that cost him £520!*

:D

*special offer no longer available unfortuately.

I was in the local stores eyeing this up for the parents, - 32" is the max size that would be aceptable for them. They really like the asthetics of it, which is important to some who's lounge isnt just a tv room.

However I cant find how well it performs for SD tv - they have virgin. (I know plasma would prob be better for SD, however they love the thinness of this model :/ )
All the shops had everything linked up via Coaxial, playing dodgey display bluerays from other manufacturers. So every screen in every shop I could find had massive 1cm ghosting etc. No one could show me what it actually looks like in normal use, (nor any other screen). Very frustrating.
