Latest Royal Mail delivery times?

Couldn't find a solid answer on Google so here it goes..
Anyone know the latest time that Royal Mail will do deliveries? Currently waiting on a parcel and no sign of him, normally he comes about 4pm

Its about 40 years or something, as wasn't there a christmas/birthday card or something that turned up after about 40 years (was on the news not long ago), so you've got a long wait
