Curious as to whether anyone has tried the splitscreen co-op? My best mate has bought it and were planning a session tomorrow night. Anyone tried it? Good? Bad? He's loving the single player though :D

I wasn't even bothered about this game. I enjoyed the first one and the online was good but it was a take it or leave it game for me this time around. After reading this thread I have an uncontrollable urge to buy it, but the Morrisons local to me has sold out. :(

This Steam rubbish takes the buscuit. first I load the disc, go throught the Steam install, then it starts to do the game install, then tells me Steam is too busy and that I should try in a few minutes....

Basically, I can't play the darn game I paid for???

You realise you're in Consoles?

Well I picked mine up at midnight at BestBuy in houston (cant see that being a competitor as they aren't in the UK), there was huge lines everywhere but there was the one i felt least likely to get shot in.

You know those really annoying americans on Xbox live? They are even worse in the flesh. They were all talking trash to each other in the line and you can't mute them in real life! Idiots running around the carpark in NV googles.

Managed to get one at about 3.30 today. Left work at 2.55, pretty much as soon as the bell went, collected my daughter at 3.15 and went to a supermarket in Gamston. £23 ish with discount, so I'm glad my brother couldn't pick me one up last night!

Not that I'll get chance to play it tonight it seems!

What do I do with the code on the back off the manual? I registered at infinityward.com but I see nowhere to put in codes or say I have PS3 version and view stats etc (which I assume I should be able to do?).

You know, I didn't even know there was a code on the back of the manual, I took the disc out of the box and that's it :p

Also found my code for CoD Classic in there heh.

Is it full of 10 year old children yet ?

Yes. There also seems to be no lack of games in Birmingham because the MP games I were playing were full of Brummies whinging about how ******* **** the game was... here is an idea for you, if you don't like it, STOP PLAYING IT.

Anyway I'm in love already. I only ever playe COD:MW round a mates house but loved COD:WAW. So far online has been buggy for me compared to WAW with occasional difficulties getting into games and looking at "Migrating hosts" screens before being dumped back into the lobby more often than I would like but I put that down to the huge number of people playing all of a sudden.

Only did the first two stages of SP before hitting MP for a couple of hours but that seemed pretty cool too, unlike WAW where I found each level a drag.

Looking forward to some split screen co-op action now :)

Ah cheers, I did see that but I thought that was for some fancy editions of the game, I just have the "normal" version, I will wait it out.

Should people be able to view stats or 360/PS3 profiles etc online (like other cross platform games) i.e. Burnout Paradise. Was this feature in COD4?

This, been a wonderful experience so far. Never anything below 3 green bars, and usually 4 dark green on the gamer list.
