** My own SLI 8800GTX VS SLI GTX275 benchmarks **

Today i upgraded my SLI 8800gtx setup to a SLI GTX 275 setup...

These are the benchmarks i did with my e8500 at 4000mhz,1920x1200,mostly max game details

Trackmania
SLI 8800GTX =0xaa 99fps
SLI GTX 275 = 0xaa 206fps
i7/SLI GTX 580 = 8xaa 218fps

SLI 8800GTX =8xaa 73fps
SLI GTX 275 = 8xaa 201fps (this don't seem right )
i7/SLI GTX 580 = 8xaa 211fps


Call of Juarez
SLI 8800GTX =0xaa 29fps min / 77fps max / 42fps avg
SLI GTX 275 = 0xaa 39fps min / 142fps max / 68fps avg
i7/SLI GTX 580 = 0xaa 88fps min / 430fps max / 203fps avg

SLI 8800GTX =4xaa 21fps min / 62fps max / 34fps avg
SLI GTX 275 = 4xaa 32fps min / 128fps max / 58fps avg
i7/SLI GTX 580 = 0xaa 75fps min / 367fps max / 174fps avg

Lost Planet
SLI 8800GTX = 0xaa 54fps snow / 61fps cave
SLI GTX 275 = 0xaa 90fps snow / 62fps cave
i7/SLI GTX 580 = 0xaa 239fps snow / 227fps cave

You are probably CPU limited on the 0x AA trackmania results.

Thats a nice increase in performance.

Am not sure,as it shouldn't be well over double the FPS of the SLI 8800gtx cards...I have to ran it again and see what fps i get..

No as my two 8800gtx's were watercooled....

The two GTX 275 seem to be using a little less power at idle,and a little extra power on load compared to the 8800gtx's

nice, just goes to show the behemoth cards of yesteryear arent that good anymore, well tbh the 10+ £70~ cards arent that bad priced considering a 275 is like 2 8800gtxs
