Yep, that's what I did. Will do the SP when none of my friends are online.
Shame about the party chat tho' :(

Surely if their is 6 of you in a party and those 6 are on the same team then it should allow party chat.

Also was hoping for a HCHQ.

Me too, no idea why they left this out! The party chat, or lac of it, is my biggest gripe with the game right now.

To get round it I've just changed my privacy settings so I can only communicate with people on my friends list but this isn't ideal as obviously friends wil invite their friends into games and I'll need to chat to them too!

I understand the reasoning behind it for search and destroy but I see no point in doing this on the other game modes. Hopefully they change this.

Play ground war if your in a party mate. It allows party chat. Bigger teams and longer games.
 
Do OC have a MW2 clan type thing? Need to add more friends to my PSN Network only got family and mates on so far would be good to add some of you lot as well...
 
Still enjoying this game BUT the one thing i feel is missing and has been missing from the COD series is the lack of cover shooting like you have in GRAW...i mean theres a certain level that i kept getting stuck at and it would have been so much easier if you could duck behind some cover then pop out to take a few shots a la GRAW style.

If it had some sort of cover system them id definitely be loving it more but still an awesome game...havent had a chance to play MP on it as im too busy finishing off the SP mode but soon as i do ill be up for some MP albeit im pretty rubbish at it:p.

I wonder when the next GRAW is out as i definitely have a soft spot for that game...i find it much more polished than the COD games.

Hmmm after a bit googling it looks like it might be Q2 of 2010 for release...hopefully sooner along with the next Rainbow 6 game.

Seems much better from what I played.

We (Party of 4) played ground war for about 2 hours. There were a couple of matches that had a little lag, then one of them the host disconnected/timed out -so we got migrated anyway.
 
I had to go to a high street brand to get it in the end, both big supermarkets near me had sold out last night. £44 but TBH I will more that get my moneys worth so not bothered.

same i was hoping to get it cheap at supermarket but they sold out so i ended up paying £40 but im not to fussed because its a game that should get its moneys worth
 
I'm not particularly impressed with MW2. They've just tacked on a couple of new 'features' which aren't anything special. Essentially, it's MW with new maps, weapons and SP.

I prefer COD4 at this point but it may grow on me like WAW did.

Also, 1/3 matches I join are really laggy.
 
I've had a mostly lag free 5 hours of MP. I've had 2 host migrations and about 6 times where it said connection to server lost or something like that.
Last night seemed worst for lag, found myself darting about in all directions a couple of times, but didn't really cause many problems.

Was that 360 or PS3?

I remember the PS3 WaW connection problems at launch, sounds so far like everything is going ok.
