Make a new Steam account for it, something generic, and flog it on MM - there'll be a few people who'd like to buy it for SP only, then sell it on again.
As long as we keep passing on the Steam details, and actually stick to not using it again once sold, it should work OK?
I suppose you haven't actually played it then? Its free because its crap!!! Its what people on consoles are used to. Not COD gamers. The lagg is unfkin believable in 3/4 of the servers its sticks you on. The game has been ruined. Its too consolfied. This will be the last COD i buy unless they get their finger out and get the PC versions back up to scratch
There is a hell of a lot more stuff than just new weapons and levels.
My verdict on it is that the whole game feels like an expansion pack or as they are now known, 'DLC', for COD4. There are no innovations anywhere - the only new things are new levels and weapons. Everything else is the same. It doesn't feel like a new game at all.
As for the MP itself, the levels are all very well designed but we've all been here before. Other than the new weapons, it's all the same as COD4, but without dedis and mods.
Given the total lack of improvements over COD4, you may as well play that instead tbh.
Like what? You get a new SP campaign, new MP campaign and a new selection of guns (admittedly a high point due to the number and range of different ones.)
The graphics are simply the same with some bloom on.
You know this is pretty common of sequels right, in that they follow the same lines but just change things a bit?
Do you have any idea how long it would take to balance 16-20 new MP maps? There is no way they could've or should have added that as DLC or a patch to MW1 hahaha.
They've also done an entirely new 5-10 hour single player campaign, how is that an expansion pack to you?
I fail to see what you actually expected/wanted from this game or sequels in general if this is your outlook.
Sequels are supposed to improve on the previous incarnation. They're supposed to add new features and enhance the previous experience. Explain to me what in the way of new features and experiences there are in this game? We get new weapons, new levels, and a spec ops mode. That's it.
Look at HL2 for a proper sequel - new graphics engine, new enemies, new weapons, new multiplayer, new physics engine; it took everything that was great about the previous game and turned it on its head. But wait, there's more; same for Battlefield 2. Same for Quake 4. Same for Dawn of War 2. Same for DiRT2. Same for CS:S. Same for TF2. Same with UT2003. Same for the original Modern Warfare vs. CoD2.
Those examples all improved over the previous game in an obvious way; they presented a new and relevant experience to the player and are/were true sequels. This game does nothing it hasn't already done. I'm enjoying it but I feel almost short-changed.
