Snow Leopard 10.6.2 is out

My download was pretty quick, (via software update), earlier this morning. It's installed, which took a while, and system appeared to reboot ok ... haven't had a chance to do much with it yet though as I had to leave for work.

Anyone notice any issue with iTunes sound quality after updating?

It sounds like a cheap Transistor radio, both through inbuilt speakers and through my firewire m-Audio audiophile. It used to be crystal clear!

edit: tis ok, a complete restart sorted it out. Clear as a bell again!

Shame there's no mention of wireless improvements, had nothing but problems with it since upgrading to Snow Leopard :( Installed it anyway so will wait and see if it continues...

Same here, with my Alu macbook had loads of problems. Sold that and now have a brand new (delivered yesterday 9th Nov) iMac 21.5, with problems it won't recognise my airport extreme 5ghz network at all. Changed that many settings, i'm fed up with it. Going to have to go wired soon, i've got 50mb Virgin install tomorrow so may be just as well going wired connection.

It may or may not be true that it replaces rather than patches files. How accurate that statement is, I don't know.

Apple said:
Sometimes, Software Update is able to offer a "smaller-sized Delta" update than you might expect for Mac OS X v10.3.4 and later, or smaller than what you might see on other computers installing the same update. The "smaller Delta" updates are offered when some Mac OS X system files can be modified instead of replaced in their entirety.

This modification of files seems to (speaking about the large Apple community here) frequently mess things up...

10.6.2 fixed an issue with Spaces for me so Im happy.

Basically when using a Wacom tablet in Spaces, moving windows about would be extremely sluggish and lag behind the cursor pointer making Spaces almost unusable.

Im glad to say its fixed now.

10.6.2 still did not fix my wireless problem cannot connect to my network, occasionally it will work i managed to stay connected long enough to download the update and now its gone again still going to have to stick to tiger i guess :(

OK since doing this I have lost the audio output from my Macbook Pro ayone else getting this issue?

scrap that it seems to have fixed itself, will post again if it comes back :/

Within half an hour of updating i just lost wifi connection between my macbook and airport extreme, hope it was just a fluke as that has never happened before.

Its happened again Headphones plugged in and no sound output at all.

Must be a bug I have an original uni body MBP 15" with graphics card.

Anyone else go the same that they could try?

I got a degraded sound through both internal and through a FW external m-Audio audiophile interface (at 96KHz so at a better rate), a reboot sorted it.
