What do you reckon "LIMITED VI" means?

I booked tickets for my wife's birthday to go see Beyonce in concert in Newcastle. The tickets have arrived but I notice the have LIMITED VI on them and I'm not sure what it means.

I'm hoping it doesn't mean limited view as that would suck as a birthday present, plus I was assured they gave an "excellent view" many times by the eager chappy on the phone !

not much to miss during a concert anyway.

Miming pop hag(s) :P

It isn't music, its manufactured bullpoop

I'd say it means limited view. If you have the seat numbers you can probably check where they are on the venue web site. If it is a limited view I'd call tell them in no uncertain terms to send you the ones you were sold.

The guy told me row and seat numbers on booking and they are the ones we received but he did specifically say they were an excellent view which it sounds as though they may not be.

They were the last pair together so I don't really want to give them up either :( I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they have to say !

Limited view in my experience usually means seating more to the side of the stage rather than in front. Can still see loads just not a head on view.

That doesn't mention any of the seats having limited views, looking at the 360 views, some of the rearmost seats may suffer from the support columns being in the way but they're relatively small.

I have to say though 'last pair of tickets together' sounds like the oldest sales trick in the book to rope you into buying there and then, always worth calling back and asking about what it means and what you were told, can't hurt.

edit - found this in a review: "Although the box office describe some of the side seats in blocks 100 and 114 as 'restricted view’ I have never failed to have a brilliant view from various locations in those blocks." , sounds promising, means you'd be right up the front I think, if you are indeed in those blocks.

This.

Used to work with Ticketmaster and the ticket probably didn't have enough space to fit in the complete text.

Also, it doesn't mean something will be in your way. Pretty much all venues have good views all round. It will probably be side-on and perhaps even closer than being head-on. I was "Limited View" at a wrestling event at The O2 and it was just side-on (to the stage) with clear views of the ring in the centre.

Thanks for the response guys. Tickets are block 210 Row X. It does look like there is some seating above us, so could be support for it.

The missus didn't seem to care anyway, she's too excited ! :D
