7.5 tonne licence

What sort of money is involved in getting a PCV? Just been told I'm out of a job today after finishing my notice for other job yesterday. Serious WTF from me :(

Most recent boss in ex truck driver and is going back to driving trucks to stay alive and he suggested it for the busses and the like.

Expensive to do and badly paid when you're qualified.
Bus drivers are paid pathetically, for example.

It was due to people with a car licence driving 7.5 tonners like complete idiots.

Nothing much has changed there...... :D

I'd stop driving for a living before I drove a Bus.

Trucking is not greatly paid but your load won't give you verbal abuse and you do tend to see more than the number 21 route day in & day out.... ;)

Dont do it my wife used to work for a well known bus company driving You will be abused spat at assualted even have gangs of kids trying to stop your bus to wreck it

Happened to a mate of mine when he had a 6 month stint driving buses.
I'd go into more detail, but as I can't provide pictures and CCTV evidence then I'm clearly going to be making the whole story up ;)

There's also GTG training in South Street - they do all types of commercial driving, and training. http://www.gtg.co.uk/ Used to be just beside Hampden but now they have s****y new offices.

edit hah - the word starred out means 'flashy' not 'crappy' :)
