Civic FN2 Xenon Adjustment

Hello everyone I know you're all pretty knowledgable about most things so wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the xenons on the new shape civic so they are suitable for driving on the continent? Is it just a lever on the headlight somewhere or is it a dealer job?

Most xenon will have a switch on the actual headlamp. I know my Mini & Focus ST170 both did when I drove in France.

Projector headlights normally have a switch on the back to swap for LHD by moving a flap however as the FN2 has reflector headlights I would expect it to be the old sticker on the headlight for LHD use.

I thought as much I had a look earlier but couldnt see anything problem is the shape of the thing cant really see much behind the headlight so anyone with a guide even if I have to take out the headlights would be useful.

Switch for LHD mode? First I have heard of this! Pretty sure my HIDs do not sport this feature

On my old Saab the hand book showed how to mask the lights, my newer one with Xenon projectors tells me to ask the dealer, seems a bit silly.

Well phoned Honda this morning and they said that the xenons have a flat beam so don't require being adjusted for driving abroad which I thought was a bit odd but ohwell not my car, hope they don't get pulled over

You can determine this quite easily - just park up facing a wall at night and put the headlights on. If the beams dip up to the left they are lying, if they are flat they are telling the truth

Ye I could do that but cant be bothered as I won't see my friend before they go abroad. Will just have to trust Honda.

I assume is the CW FN2 as the standard Type-R and the normal FN Civic don't have Xenons IIRC.

Sorry what? They are a spec option, they are definitely xenons.
