Steam Weekend Deal: Entire Overlord series (I + II + Raising Hell) for only £6.25

You basically direct little demon minions in various acts of pillage and destruction, from what I can gather.

A bit like being a scout leader.

She may enjoy it, its sort of Dungeon Keepery. You control little minions to do your bidding and they all have different attributes.

I quite enjoyed the first one, so I may splash out on this.

bought the pack yesterday.. we'll see if it can tempt the missus away from PvZ for once :p

The first is more cynical with better humour imo, the second more 'approachable' though some may dislike the seal clubbing early on. If there are any Terry Pratchett fans reading this you may like to know that his daughter, Rhianna, is responsible for a good deal of the writing. I found both games to be fun romps.

They come to about 9GB all together.

Overlord 1 and 2 are about 3.8GB and 3.9GB each

The expansion is 1.35GB.

Just bought Overlord 1. For €1.50 I won't be too disappointed if I don't like it, but from the reviews it looks like an overlooked gem.

My bro told me to get this said its a great laugh, wasn't expecting much but he was right its pretty decent and a bargain at the price.

Bought! Demos were ace and there aren't many things you can buy for this amount of money! Just hope that my brand new XBOX 360 controller works with them!

I'd forgotten how much fun this game was! They seem to have addressed a lot of the issues with the first one, mainly the stupid amount of farming one had to do to forge and power up the later weapons (thank god the enhancement bit's gone), but the minions seem a bit dumber than they were. Sure they level up, ride stuff and take more punishment, but they get stuck and confused so often, and simple fences stump them. Hopefully the rush of new purchases will inspire Codemasters to patch them in some brain cells, and maybe a sprint for your guy - they've not addressed his dawdling, I noticed. Still, at least as fun as the original, and seems to be a fair bit larger as well - loving the siege weapons and ships!
