Call of Duty Classic

call of duty the originaly is really good, i think its definately worth £11. i got it when it first came out, i paid 40 odd quid for it
 
Yea I played it to death on the PC, but I cant seem to run it very well on my current system as it jerks about and what not so playing it again would be good.....just not £11 good maybe
 
It loved it on PC, was tempted to get an uber edition to get it free with it, but then saw it on PSN. I bought it last night, will play it tonight. Nice bit of semi-recent nostalgia.
 
Not that i'd try and tell activision how to make money but I would have thought this would have done really well 1-2 months before the launch of MW2? Maybe even rake in the most downloaded game on xbox live.

It was intended for voucher only (for consumers who had bought some of the other versions of MW2) but we were also informed it was for release on the store also, turns out this was not the case.

If you bought it, you keep it, simple as that, it’s just not going to be available for the wider public at the moment."

I bought mine the otehr day as I said, played the training only last night, really enjoying it all over again. Would have been better for a fiver, but still good to have it!

Back when Infinity Ward first revealed the special editions for Modern Warfare 2, little was mentioned about Call of Duty Classic, a downloadable version of the original Call of Duty game released in 2003.

Those who buy either the Hardened or Prestige editions will be given a token to download the game for free.

But what about those who just want to buy the regular edition? Well, you can download Call of Duty Classic, too, but you'll have to wait.

Community Manager Robert Bowling confirmed to IGN the classic first-person shooter will be made available to download for everyone...eventually.

"Prestige and Hardened Edition buyers will be getting access to Call of Duty: Classic first. It'll eventually be coming out for both Xbox Live Arcade and PSN as a stand-alone arcade game," he said.

Bowling also added that the game will have working multiplayer.

"However, price and release date are unknown at this point. It's the true original Call of Duty including full multiplayer."

- so it will be out eventually. Love the fact PSN just whacked a tenner price tag on it and sold it for a bit anyway. Haha! Genius

Yep it was out on the P.C. and i loved the MP. I was an unbeatable sniper :cool:

Wasn't the COD on the PS2 a spin off called big red one or something?
