Prolimatech Megahalems vs H50

Is there any reviews that compare the 2 against each other.
And which cooler would be the best at proloning the life of a i7 920 overclocked chip.
I have a h50 but often think that i made the wrong choice as idle temps are quite high 38degs-41degs but load temps are 72prime, 75 LinX @ 4Ghz.
Would it be worth changing to the Prolimatech Megahalems, and would it fit into an antec 300 case?

Those are some good temps. I wouldn't suggest switching. If you haven't already, you could add a couple of good fans to the H50 - to make it run even cooler.

Im running 2xsharkoon silent eagles 1000rpms with the 140mm antec standard roof fan.
Any suggestions to reduce temps? However i would like to keep thing as quite as possible.
Was thinking about changeing fans to the apache?
I keep reading posts where stock temps are 32degs. My ambient room temp is above 30 degs as my pc sits in built in wardrobes.
Do you think im being unrealistic in trying to lower the temps further without spending a great deal of money?

As above - i wouldn't start swapping a cooler for another when you're already getting very respectable temps.

Andi's suggestion of adding another fan to create a push/pull setup for added cooling is a good one if you're not already utilizing it.

The Prolimatech Megahalems is a fantastic cooler - but with the temps you're achieving with the H50 i doubt the Prolimatech Megahalem would justify the expense even if it did better those temps.

EDIT: (the word 'EDIT' would have made more sense had it been in my above post as intended.)

Possibly, unless you turn to water properly i doubt you will see any major changes in those temps unless you're prepared to endure more brutal fan speeds.

Your temps really are very good when compared to your clock - idle temps don't really mean anything, it's the load temps that are important and yours are very good on a i7 920 @ 4GHz.

TBH, changing the fans for apache won't give you a massive boost in cooling, as you say your abient temps are pretty high and a 4GHz i7 kicks out a lot of heat.

If you want a significant drop in temps my suggestion would be custom watercooling with a nice big triple radiator. But obviously this is a rather expensive upgrade.

It may be useful to note than 72 degrees is perfectly safe for that chip, further money on cooling will either be for your piece of mind, reduced noise or higher overclocking headroom.
