got me a snow job in new zealand

aha so i was right about endace?! what do you do there?!
cheers guys i literally am loving it. best place ever. the gf even mentioned a the getting of a lop eared bunny a moment ago
lol.
and about the visa, i got a 2 year working holiday visa. and have mostly been working haha, plenty of time to see the country though. work is gonna sponsor me hopefully for residency :D

Ahh, i've been mulling over doing something like this for ages, as a lot of my family is back in NZ. Had you had any previous experience in something similar (or skiing/snowboarding), or just applied as it sounded absolutely awesome? Very tempting :(

just applied cos it sounded awesome :D never snowboarded before.
u get loads of time on the mountain tho, and have to ride between lift stations. lol. perks of the job. the downside would having to go up and stand there even when its rubbish and some idiots from the city reackons that even tho its freezing and raining and the snow is slushy as that its still a brilliant idea to spend 7 hours doing the only run thats open. lol.
but apart form those people all is good :D
and dont mull it over, just do it. its wicked.

if you do get residency in NZ is a nice easy route into Australia assuming you want to do that again. I'm currently in Darwin would love the chance to stay up here for a good few years ... But I have to leave in February :(

We emigrated 3 months ago but ditto to the above poster.

OP - there are several very good places to order PC components from. They're obviously not competition to OCUK but I shan't post them. Drop me a PM if you want some names.

Holy thread revival!

In the off chance that the OP comes back to the forum and reads this post..
How much were you getting paid?

Seriously tempted to **** off to NZ for a few months and work rentals or something..

I've looked into doing the same while I'm here but I think I'll keep my current job as the pay is quite poor, minimum wage poor up the mountain.

Yeah, I expected as much. Something like $9/hr?

This is really something I should have done many years ago, rather than 2 years after uni , but **** it.
Although whether I could handle prepping skis and boards day in day out for 4 months without going insane is another matter :p
