Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

Its freaky how good that game looks graphically, i think its to do with the colour pallette used though, everything seems to have a more real life look to it than be over the top colourful. The tanks kicking up dust when they fire is a really nice effect, engineer drilling holes to fire through was also somethig that stood out a bit.

Only thing that bugged me was the gun waggle when he was walking, it was like someone was standing behind him slapping the gun stock about, :p Had to laugh at the sniper going nuts with the knife and raping about 3 or 4 people 12 mins or so in. Hell of a lot more destruction and not the standard generic "nothing can be damaged" battlefield either.

And please don't let the beta be through fileplanet, im assuming it will be though since 2142 had a fileplanet beta.

Looks decent to me be nice to play a game where the battlefield looks different at the end, burnt out tanks, explosion holes etc am looking forward to this.
 
Getting really interested in this! Is BF2 still decent to pick up cheap? Last I heard it was getting ruined by a minority online. If I stick to a decent server is it allright? Cheers.
 
Played BF2 only a few times due to taking a lot of bullets to put someone down. Is it still this bad or has it been patched up now? That's the only reason I stayed with COD tbh as much prefer the big map style as with Arma II.

Well judging by BF 1943, it still takes a good few hits to put sum1 down. So in answer to your question, no its still like that.

Now im going to be faced with an irresistable urge to buy a new gfx card....:(

That terrible sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach as you tell yourself spending £200+ again....for a few extra bells and whistles is completely irrational and unjustified...at the same time grinning like an idiot as you make your way to the checkout screen...

Oh well....
 
yes it looks stunning and hopefully it will be everything we want in a game as well,this is defo on my list for next year.if all is well, going to re-open my clan servers and get back into hosting matches ect.
 
Looks great, definitely getting this game when it's released. Liked the engineer part of the beta walkthrough video where you could build cover or make your own sniper holes in walls.

I got both MW2 and BC2, I'd rather not choose and instead have both :D

Anyway, I am friggin glad I bought my 5850 when I did, still can't believe they raised prices and BC2 is the game I have been waiting for and mass effect 2 :P
