Have these been released or what? I've only ever seen one of these, and it was a Pistonheads ad.

Why are these so rare?

Because after you've finished speccing it, its a £35,000 1 Series.

I'm not sure if its an OTR price, but the BMW site has given me a price of £41,420 for a 135i convertible with an automatic gearbox and some options ticked

Obviously you could probably negotiate a bit from that, but youd have to have something pretty wrong with you to pay that for a 1 series...

Oddly, I dont see the 130i on there any more, looks like the next one down is a 125i

the 130i is only in 3/5dr form, the coupe and convertible have the 125i and 135i

The most powerful petrol on the bmw site configurator in 3/5 door is the 120i :confused:

Just after I finished typing that I remembered the list price on the 320d M Sport Tourer I had last week with leather, bluetooth and USB interface was... £33000.
