Crying over a game? That’s pretty messed up in itself really, she’s obviously made far too much of a connection to it, maybe her brain is now operating in the same way all these so-called GTA killers were; allowing her emotions to be affected in such a huge way :confused:

Don’t think I have ever played a game that’s brought tears to my eyes, they have made me laugh or feel mildly uncomfortable, but I still retain enough grasp on reality to know I am playing an interactive story; yet another form of entertainment. It has only ever been films or TV that have brought tears to my eyes and that’s because they are portraying real life, and not a collection of polygons.

I managed this twice today out of 7 games!!! The other times, by the time I pick a class and press Select everyone has green icons of varying levels.

The 2 times I saw it, one guy clearly had 4 bars and everyone else had 1 red bar. Also when the game is about to lag out, and I pressed select it was clear who the host was, in the same way.

Dunno why they just can't have a clear icon that tells you the host, one of the many minor interface issues this game has :(

If there is anyone here who wants to run through the spec ops missions on veteran tonight or tomorrow during the day add my gamer tag STEALTH 5OLD1ER :)
 
I don’t know about anyone else but the airport level I happily shot away and didn’t feel a single bit of remorse or at all uncomfortable, at the end of the day it’s a game and anyone that can’t handle that or is brought to tears needs to get their head checked. It didn’t give me and urge to shoot someone in the face.
 
Anyone else got into a really bad sleeping pattern because of this game!

Its nearly 5am and I am up playing headquarters with the yanks...

Same here, i'm at 67/69 stars.

We got to the final breach 3 times last night, first time the game desync'd, we were both stood at the breach doors on our screens but according to the game we were not, so that was 20mins wasted...

2nd time we got the breach, went in thought we'd done it only to at the last second notice one guy left who managed to get a shot off before we could take him down :mad:

3rd time we had the level down, got to the breach in 10mins flat, only for my co-op buddy to panic and shoot the hostage with his first shot :o

So we gave it up as a bad job as we were sick of doing it, we will get it done tonight ...

I read each end of the breach has one man running at you thats easy to miss. I wouldn't mind the level and replaying it, it's just the smoke section that gets on my bits.

For days I'd tried to get the pit in 35 secs one done until I realised you can do it with a partner and then did it with 5 seconds to spare :D

I will end up with 990/1000 because I doubt I will ever run the pit in 30 seconds alone.

When I completed it, I watched all the credits and it ran through the museum at the end of the credits, was pretty cool :)

Yup the Pit on Spec-Ops we've done in 24 seconds!

Pit Solo I just can't get under ~32-33secs. :( I'll do it eventually no doubt.


As for the Thermal bit at the end, what we do that makes it dead easy, is one guy prones on the ground floor looking up to the top of the stair way that leads to the smoke platform.

The other guy runs up, causes the enemy to spawn, pops off a couple of shots, then sprints back down to the mid level platform and covers the top of the stairs also.

Sit back as they all charge at you and you pick them off with ease as they round the stairs. :)


Then just walk up, use your thermal to pick off the gunners in the back ground with no fuss.

That only leaves the 3 guys on the far left and your clear, with absolutely no danger of failing, being overwhelmed, or flanked.


Then its just the breach to victory.

Only use a pistol and make sure you get 100% or as close as possible for accuracy, that knocks a good 3 to 5 seconds off iirc. It took me a fair few attempts but I got it in the end.

Edit - I'm sure I managed to shoot two guys with one shot a couple of times and my accuracy was 105% which obviously knocks off even more time.
