Lol excellent light painting :D

I feel bad as I completely missed any Fireworks photos this year :/

Love the Tiger pics as well but i always feel a bit sorry for them being cooped up like that.

Quite often though its a choice between a dead tiger and a couped up tiger. Abandoned babies or most are actually born in captivity and wouldn't survive in the wild. I know what you mean though as its the second time I've been and felt sorry for them this time round. Especially the black panther that kept pacing back and forth.

Excellent shot Rob :) - Can't beat studio lights :D

EDIT: I'm doing a wedding in December and for the after party I'm thinking of taking my lights and having them setup in a corner so if anyone wants any specific couple shots etc I can do it :)

I'm liking that Syke. Did you get a landscape version of it?

Yeah, trying to revive it, I preferred the portrait version, and it started to get a bit dark and started to rain a bit, so had to head home. Lost my starting point for B&W conversions in LR, which is a tad annoying! Will TRY fix it and maybe post it depending how it turns out. Might head back out and try get more shots like this during the week.

I have 200 ish more to go through but number 2!

I could do with some unsharp mask on that really I guess.

I do yep :p I think!

I do like that colour tone, it's warm yet not too saturated and not quite monochrome/duotone but still enough colour for contrast. It's the first preset in lightroom and once applied I always make fine tune tweaks on the develop sliders per photo.

All in RAW, try not to mess within photoshop as much as possible :)

Ok quick quick setup, when I use it properly I'll be pushing all the chairs towards the back of the lounge and ofcourse both lights and softboxes but you can get the idea
