Hell!! \m/
Hi guys.

I sent out an item to Denmark recently. I used AirSure and got a tracking number. When my friend tries to track it he gets this:

A delivery was attempted for your item with reference ********* in NATIONAL RETURN CENTRE before 15:52 on 10/11/09.

A card may have been left, depending on the country's postal service.

If undelivered, it will be returned to the UK.

My friend was at work at the time and never received a card. He has tried his local Post Office and Return Centre and he says they haven't got it.

What the hell is going on?

Thanks for any help.

I also have a mild royal mail grumble, bought an item off a guy on the 2nd of november, posted the next day by standard parcels which takes 3-5 days. Turns up this morning...

At least it arrived!

/Gets ready for people to have there weekly postal grump :D Or someone to come along and say lazy gits.

Best bet is to wait for the package to comeback then complain to RM customer services.

try them?

I dunno who runs AirSure. I will try Royal Fail and see if they can help me. I have sent off an email to them about the situation. All I really would like is it to be redelivered, the item isn't lost as the delivery has been attempted.

My guess is I'll get a lazy reply saying I have to wait 25 days and then fill out a lost, claims form. I'll need to prove it's value too and these forms are a lot of messing about from personal experience.

Recently I filled an out inland one claims form and two weeks later I got a letter saying, it's undergoing more investigation and they'll get back within 28 days. The first form I filled out, they sent me a cheque within the two weeks.

Vashlov Mehkneemunee runs AirSure.

Seriously though, have you even tried to find contact information for AirSure? I highly doubt you have.

AirSure is a Royal Mail service, contact them as they'll know what you can do about it and or where the package is.
