*** SFIV Double Elimination Tournament (Registration) ***

Just a suggestion K, perhaps it maybe better to have a series of tournaments? I.e. say 1 week run tournaments with a smaller number of players?
So effectively you will have the weekly league being run and then the ongoing league table which ranks players according to how many leagues they have won?

(The only reason I suggest this is because of the seemingly lower number of players, but perhaps these players are dedicated to playing so you can expect fairly high play rate from these guys).

Just a thought!
 
No point having a tournament with so few players as you get far less excitement, may as well run the league you suggested.
 
An Abel!! Nice :) And played by an unknown too.... interesting.
I'd love to be good with Abel, but he just doesn't suit my play. He's a pressure/rushdown kinda guy and I can't on with that.....
 
I used to main Ken first, but after a while I felt like a scrub using him so decided to try one of the new characters. Once I did Abels COD > FADC > c.HP > Ultra I thought "this is the one for me!".
 
Yeah, nice to have a change from the army of Ryu's online.

No one at the Dojo plays Ryu or Sagat, there are giefs, chuns, bisons, rufus', rogs, sakuras but no Ryu's :p

I think the league players are still about, but most just havent signed up due to the recording rules. This tournament doesn't look like it's going to get started.
 
This is the first one that hasn't been a resounding success.

It's a bit pathetic not to sign up because of the recording rules. We're on PC's so it takes no effort at all to record the matches and support the community.
 
Sorry chaps, I would have loved to play in the tourney but haven't got loads of time at the moment and the gaming time I have is spent trying to catch up on other games that got neglected :) Hoping to join in after Christmas though is there's some tourneys/leagues around then.
 
kree, can we not just do a single elim with 8.... Otherwise we will never get started.
 
It's not really worth the effort with so few players, we may as well just add each other an play some casual games.
