Interesting that it's roughly the same price as 2 5850s making it a good buy as long as the UK pricing matches that. So about £500 then.

pretty incredible value considering the performance: price.
Doubt i'll be able to afford it though as it means getting a better case aswell

I don't really see a problem with increasing the size aslong as they do intend to reduce its size at a later point.

Last few generations its been getting bigger. size is an issue when you spend 90 quid on a case and it wont fix.

This is true, it wont fit in my antec 900, an "enthusiasts" case so to speak.

I bought a case for £21 about five years ago that it would fit in with about 2" to spare.

I wonder if they will release a 5990 on 32nm tech with 1GHz clocks sometime next year.
