Xenons can be fitted with E-marked kits for around £140 these days (£70 per pair) and yes they are better than standard halogens.

I don't know, are E36 insurance costs the same as E46? (not checked) but going by the quotes flying around on an E46 sport coupe 330 I don't think barrys will be getting them any time soon considering the lack of premium decrease for younger drivers on cars like these or any car really!

You also would not get the auto on/off and light sensor for auto levelling would you - something that's pretty essential!
