That's pretty much identical to my experience with iwnet as well.
 
Is there an OCUK Steam group yet, I thought I'd joined one but apparently not.

Would be good to get some events on the go....

Same for me. If I keep trying then eventually I'll get in to a game but it takes a good 15 minutes.

Had very few problems for the first few days after release but it seems to be getting gradually worse.

That's how it was for me, fine first few days and slowly degenerating into this nonsense. Me and a friend managed to play 3 different maps over a 2 hour session last night (some of those maps we played 2 or 3 times in a row, not just 3 total). At one point it took 20 minutes to get a game. Sometimes we would get kicked from the lobby for no reason, then get put right back into the same lobby.

It's frustrating to say the least. I actually enjoy the MP, but the matchmaking is just a farce.
 
Last night was the first time I experienced real lag, was pants. Everyone was showing almost max green bars on latency, but it was choppy as hell. Seems to take longer to get into games also. Probably go complete the single player now.

Dont know if mine patched itself or not, but when its searching for games mppatch was in the string of text underneath the searching for more players bit.

Anyone fancy standing behind a wall and help me get the extended mag unlock:D

They'll have to change it soon, seems almost impossible to get into games with mates and when they do, if they're all in the same clan, the opposing team players just drop out.

remember 3 bars is 100+ ping so compare that to servers which are usually 30-50 it would probably feel like lag

even with 4 bars your probably around 80-90ms
 
Sorry to ask, but i didn't want to create another thread.

I uninstalled Stream as i was having problems, thinking this would help (which it didn't). I was told Steam would ask if you wanted to keep your files etc, but it didn't and it deleted everything.

Now i have lost my COD saved game.

Does anyone have a saved game for this please? I am up to Act 2 - The Hornet's Nest. So i have just finished Wolverines! (bit with the burger shops and the helicopters.)

I don't mind if you have got further than this as i will just jump back to this mission. I just can't start it over.

I had no end of trouble yesterday with mw2 AGAIN. Me and my clan mates managed what 3 games in 5 hours. Pathetic really.

The only way we could get solid gameplay was to host a private match and then have people join through right click on on the steam friends list. Problem with this is you dont get XP in private matches so those of us on rank 1-20 didnt have access to even a quarter of what higher ranks did. God this game ****es me off the more i play it.

I just want to come home from work and play with a couple of mates but so far that has proven impossible.
 
Having all sorts of problems now, 90% of the time ill go to join a game, it waits 10 seconds while it searches for players, it then makes the joining game sound (even though its not connected me to a lobby) and crashes to desktop.

Great. :(
 
News going around that some hackers are able to send other players (the host I think, or if the hacker is hosting) a Trojan via IWNet.

Not sure how this works, or if it's true, but just thought I would mention it.
