ty for the addon reccomendations peeps
i need of a buff bar addon that lists them in bars
i got elkanos buffbars but it dont seem to work, its just freezes so buffs dont tick down.
and anyone who uses bartender4, how do u get your cast bar up?

I decided against becoming reliant on addons actually. I got fed up with having to update them all all the time. Now i stick to bartender, pearl unit frames and quest helper (i know QH is cheating, but jesus it saves time).
The default UI is nice and all, but it takes up so much space if you need more than 10 buttons. I'll try and find my UI.
That's from before WOTLK and "The Great UI Purge of 2009". Can't find a recent one :/ I'll take one later.

The UI purge destroyed my Mazzle UI
.Using Spartan now though so it's all gooood.
Finally killed Algalon in a 10 man group i play with. Cleared all content now so I'm happy in regards to the new content available.
Also in regards to Deus Vox Encounters.
I've recently been modding it to allow for custom audio warnings during the fights. This is mainly only useful for those people who are new to the encounters.
What I have done is created some vocal audio warnings using the Microsoft Anne voice.
So for example if Icehowl is looking at you then an audio warning of a females voice will say "Run Forrest Run"
Or if you get the fire debuff cast on you you will hear "FIRE FIRE FIRE"
There are other elements to it too such as "10 seconds to phase 2", "Adds Incoming", "Stand Still - Wait for Heals" when you get incinerate flesh debuff and a few more.
If anyone is wanting to test it, then feel free to. It's not perfect but it does offer a few benefits. The version I have uploaded is the latest one from WoWace.
Just extract the folders from the Zip into your addons folder, and the 2 seperate files go into your SAVEDVARIABLES folder found in the WTF folder for your account.
Warning - Those 2 files overwrite your current Deus Vox Settings so you will have to reconfigure the placement of bars.

what addon you using to show the buffs like that?

Using a texture from the SharedMedia addon also I believe. Just modified the colors and layout.
Might be able to sort out a Saved Variable of the layout u can use if interested.
Btex is a nice addon for adding a solid panel at the bottom of the screen to lay all your chat and bars out against, some use kgpanels but that gave me a headache setting it up and I wasn't happy with the overall effect.
I've also tried SpartanUI but I found it bloated and its often best to build one up based on what you need and like rather than take a custom UI in.

i had that but when i put a buff on the timer froze and wouldnt count down :/
edit* just tried again and when i try to configure it to set what to show and what not, nothing i click gets selected i dont no whats up with it. if i click buffs to show buffs has a bullet point but if i tick debuffs it wont put a bullet point next to it.

If that one doesn't work, I'll upload the version I am using along with my Saved Variable.
Just out of interest, are you on Vista/Windows 7? I had problems with a few of my addons not loading all files so they acted funny. Ensure you run the Launcher as Administrator. This seemed to fix things for me.

hmm is 3.3 being released soon, my client has started downloading a patch with 3.3 in it?
Also Corran id love to know what addons you got to make it look like that, i just tried the spartan UI, but i cant get the chat boxes in that posistion, probably due to my res but could be something else.
