PS3 FW 3.10 is up ladies and gents !

One of the benefits of using Play TV is that my PS3 is on first thing in the mornings, so I usually get to beat the rush when it comes to updates.
Mine downloaded in <5mins at about 8:30am this morning.
 
For some reason I don't have the Facebook icon or iplayer icon :confused:. Everytime i try to go in my profile as well it says error when syncing the trophy's. Anyone have a fix?
 
Mines running cripplingly slow (not cable), should have done it this morning. My router says it is downloading at a stunning 36KB/s (approximately).

I had the same problem, I switched to another Uk account I had setup on my system, that had the iPlayer link still, then switched back to my main account and all was OK. I suspect the "loss" of iPlayer link only occurs on the account you are logged in with when you install the update.

Yes I'm on Virgin Media but I haven't used my internet today so I have not hit the cap yet. So I should be getting 1200 kbps. The last time I had to have an update it was never this slow. This is just a joke.

No, its just gone to crap in a basket.

The two peaks are me opening the escapist magazine website and downloading the latest ZP. I'm on Zen ADSL2+ and haven't had a single slowdown since I was switched to 21CN.

Nothing to do with the caps, historically, people on Virgin Media have problems downloading files fast from PSN, possibly at "peak" times. I have just started downloading the Ratchet and Clank demo that is over 2gb and I am getting about 1.5mb a sec. I am on an ADSL based ISP. I know that doesn't help you, but if it was a PSN problem we would all be getting "slow" speeds.

Maybe system updates are from a different server to the PSN store content? I have had the odd time where a system update is slow (but it is hard to gauge as it never shows you the update size!!. PSN store is maxing out my bandwidth (as described above), obviously you cannot test this as I guess it won't let you sign in till the system update is finished.

I suppose I could quit out and try it but not too keen having managed to crawl my way to 18%.

edit: that ranks pretty high on the list of dumb things I have said.

Outrageously slow update.. god damn them to be honest. Really cannot be bothered and would rather just play a game online now!!!!!!!!!!!
