Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

Looking forward to this myself, i like the fact theres no prone in it, far too much spamming of that in bf2, its even making its way into the cod series. People hop around corners and drop to prone all the time ...

but BF2 can be sooo funny.....laying a claymore trap on the back approaches to the suburb map on Karkand and watching all the dumb suckers thinking they are being clever going the back way to the flag...

I know they never learn..... :( haha, used to just make sure we had sum1 in the team who was a medic we'd get sum1 to edge in slowly die revive them and make a dash for the flag (of course camp spawn points while we get there hehehe)...... awwww the good old days!

We should get a 40 man OCUK BF2 server to all warm up on b4 BFBC2 comes to us :D
 
Ah no prone thats a real shame especially if your a sniper or even if your just entrenched defending a flag. Maybe they will change this for the PC version.
 
This gets good a few minutes in, looks of inf combat and kills. The guy is pretty good.


Looks good. I hope the final game has some varied maps, like forest maps, etc.

Same with my missis, stood infront of me this morning while I was having my first go.

Her - "Its a little early for this isnt it!!?"
Me - "This is that new game I was telling you about that comes out in march"
Her - "So?"
Me - "Well Ive managed to get a beta key for the demo so I can play it early!!!"
Her - "........"
Me - "Can you move now please"
Her - "Tut"

They just dont get it, they just dont understand the excitement
 
I hope this game isn't delayed on the pc it seems a growing trend now, look forward to the beta next month.
 
I really like the look of the colouring in this game, someone was complaining about it looking washed out, to me it has a pretty realistic tone to it. Nothing looks overly bright or too colourful, looks how you'd expect things to look in real life almost.
 
Deifinately console, PS3 i think. If it looks as good as does on the consoles then it can only look better on PC, cant wait :D.
 
Gotta say, it looks damned fine. Looks better than the brifgtly coloured COD if you ask me. I was always a BF1942, BF2 and to a lesser extent BF2142 gamer.
Can't wait for this, they won't shaft us with the "no dedi servers" speil, as the BF franchise has always been know for big maps with plenty of players. Only dedi servers can handle that.
Roll on March 2010. :)
