Father executes his teenage son for sexually abusing his 3 year old sister

Tough call for the dad. On the one hand, it was his son and he should have done everything to help him.

On the other, the son is obviously a little messed up and whats to say the dad hasn't stopped a small problem now turning into a much bigger and much worse problem in the future.

Unfortunately this is a human being we are talking about and one that has been sired by the perpetrator. Where do you draw the line? Murder,Rape, Stealing or bad forum posting?

An exam revealed that there was no sign of physical abuse. The boy told his mother that he had laid down on top of his sister, clothed. He said he knew it was wrong and wanted help. The mother told his father and he decided to beat, strip and execute a 15 year old boy.

What if a child that smokes a joint becomes London's biggest drug dealer?

Preventive justice is dubious at the best of times but you can't really justify actions by relating to a worst case scenario.

No I totally agree, its very dubious. But from the fathers point of view, his son, his own flesh and blood, had done something terrible and no doubt the father had considered the fact that it could become a worst case scenario. I think most parents work in worst case scenario's with their children.

True, but his reaction was clearly the most extreme of extremes to say the least, and I think it's very easy to conclude the father was completely irrational.

he lay on top of his sister fully clothed, and decided himself he'd done something wrong so confessed and asked for help?

That counts as something terrible?
