Nice, really stunning scenery. I definitely need a brake upgrade before trying that though I can imagine the traffic is very slow there with buses and Dacia's on the uphill.

looks like a bloody steep climb and they are pretty massive looking things whatever they are, as its on a few photos it cant be some bizare camera effect?

Looks like rock barriers to stop scree and rocks etc falling down the hills to the cars

There are a lot of ski lifts in the area, as during winter, the area is a skiing resort!

Approximately 24 hours driving to get there for me from Bristol... My next summer holiday I think

Oh I want to go, so the fuel is a none issue, just amusing that it costs ~£500 or so to do a ring trip, but costs £600 for that one before you factor in driving the road lots and food, hotels etc.
