Hi all,

Okay, so i've got my i5 stable at 4044.6Mhz at 1.312V. Is this good?

Is it the voltages that contribute directly to overheating?
Do lower voltages mean less heat and less strain on the CPU?

Is it best to aim for highest clock and lowest voltage?

Thanks

sounds good to me, im on 1.3v and only at 3.7GHz

yes lower voltage the better. when you say stable have you stress tested with prime95 for 24hrs?

Well, 3 hours or so. I figured nothing actually truly uses 100% for that long anyway.

What I did was just set the test up over night and let it run as far as I could afford to not use my computer the next day. So long as you have it set to stop when a caution or error occurs you'll be safe leaving it while you're sleeping.

Whereabouts is the setting for that in Prime95? Or is that automatic?

Also: What's the maximum temperatures i should let it reach?
