OcUK Photo Comp - Season Eight : Round Eleven - "Autumn Colour" DISCUSSION

Just put my entry in, more of a placeholder at the moment though, would certainly like to think of something a bit more creative!

Still time in the month left yet :)

I have some trees, leaves, woods pictures, but thought i would put a piccy of my dog instead :D

She's autumn coloured afterall ;)

I will go down the end of my road to the public footpaths and get a shot today!

Well that's what I keep telling myself :p

I'm going to be sticking with my entry for the mean time unfortunately, glad i did put that one in as a placeholder!

Never entered before, but I thought I ought to. Hard to keep camera shake at bay, it was fr--eezz-z-z-ing outside and it didn't help the god damn leaves kept flying all over the place.

A lonely week in a hotel on my tod messing arond with macro has given me an entry of sorts. Still hoping to get out and about before the month is out though...

edit: One thing I can say, Mr Jones must've got the iron out on that shot. After gathering a few leaves on the walk back to the hotel from the pub and trying to get a macro pic and failing badly with smal DoF and withered leaves, I wish I had thought of flattening the buggers first! :D

[apologies if no leaf flattening took place of course!]

Sod it, I've entered one of my portraits this month just to mix it up a little bit. It may well change but will do in case I forget to enter anything else :)

I like, I like even better with a bit of colour replacement of the blue... I wish I had the time (and ability) to get shots like this. I'm hoping to grow my skills as my daughter grows up!

I have had to select from hundreds! None of them are perfect. I'm still looking for the natural flat leave with no fungus/parasites on them. They are literally rare gold dust here in Hull.

Ah crap its the 22nd and I still haven't done anything for this!

Why do I always do this? lol
