Cant believe the way people can bombard a person for making a positive comment about the game. Its beta there obviously not going to give 100% of what they can offer. Graphics arent everything, sorry but there is no way uncharted 2 graphically is close to Crysis. Its got probably the best graphics on a console though

Good post goon, it certainly is an excellent game isnt it, on PC platform with DS the game will be complete, this is going to be huge!!!

Anyone heard anything about when the PC beta is going to appear, and whether or not its going to be open?
Was playing the bfbc beta on my PS3 and I was not into it at all... I think its a combination of a ****ty controller and a ****ty layout (could not even set the R2 as fire WTF), low res everything, jaggies galore and off colours...
All of which can be fixed when I max it out and customise it to my liking on PC

I love the game and I can hardly use a control pad to save my life!
Have you played much BF2/2142 on PC? And if so how does this compare?
I still play a lot of BF2 and after the disappointment of MW2, it's fun but no BF2 replacement imo, I'm hoping that BC2 can soak up some of my time while waiting for BF3.
I've played 1942, 1943, 2142 & BF2. This is as much fun as BF2 as far as I'm concerned. I hate the PS3 controller ( so the sooner it appears on the pc the better ) but its still very enjoyable and better than BC1 imho.
People die quicker, more like BF2, but not the 1-3 shots of MW / MW2 ( which I'm not a fan of as they remind me of CS / CS:S )
The new kit loadout setup is more flexible than BC1, which allows for more choice.
Hit detection seems pretty good so far, for the most part. I imagine dedi servers on the pc will improve this once people tweak them to suit.
No prone, so no dolphin diving, which can only be a good thing...
As far as I'm concerned it can't come out soon enough. MW / MW2 get very boring... very fast. Roll on the Pc beta.
While I've been eagerly awaiting this I've been cursing DICE for removing prone for a while, but you make a good point, dolphin diving is one of the most annoying tricks in a BF2 players arsenal.

heard that DICE where releasing Prone for the pc version only...i read it on an official BF site somewhere
I'm not 100% but I remember hearing that they decided against that idea in the end, no prone for any platform.
Don't be such a drama queen, you would boycott such a great looking title because you can't use bizzare twitchy techniques that only make the game more frustrating for other players? The less bunny hopping and dolphin diving the better. It might be good for you, but seeing other people jumping and spazzing about mid air just looks ridiculous and really distracts from the epic battles that only BF can offer.well if theres no prone no sale for me

suppose if its true youll also get banned for jumping aswell
Granted, I wish they hadn't removed prone and just made dolphin diving impossible, but oh well.

I do feel that the sniper could do with prone tbh, prehaps put it in as a perk or sumin. Sniper is a born proner!
Agreed, that and grenade regen are my two biggest annoyances with BF2.
