**The Official - Will the 5970 fit in my case? Thread**

Was about 3mm too long on my antec 900, so had to remove the drivebay. Not a issue just gave the card direct access to the front fan blowing into it :) The drives mount fine without the drive bay anyway.

Im guessing guys if you already have 2x5870s like i do i would be better off keeping them right instead of getting 1 of these ? also mine should be faster right lol

5 years on the forum and over 2'000 posts and you still ask questions like this. :D

I purchased a Cooler Master HAF 922 and wonder if it will fit a HD5970.
If it fits in HAF 932 then wouldn't it fit in HAF 922 since the their dimensions with the exception of height seem to be quite similar in depth. ?
HAF 932 Dimensions: (W) 243 x (H) 560 x (D) 564 mm
HAF 922 Dimensions: (W) 253 x (H) 502 x (D) 563 mm

Do you know if the 900 has the smae dimensions as the 902? Surely if the 902 is that little bit bigger, there would be no need to remove the drive bay...

Antec 900= w,20.6cm ,d49.3cm ,h46.8cm

Antec 902= w,21.8cm ,d47.2cm ,h49.3cm

its bigger in width and height but not depth, so you possibly might still need to move it. Not 100%sure if those measurements are right it was only a quick google search but if they are...

One thing to note, this card gets hot, REALLY HOT! you will need a lot of cool airflow so make sure the case has plenty of room.
