***Official Assassin's Creed II Thread***

I Couldn't put it down and still now after putting hours in I want to play it more.

Tell me about it, this game is epic! I got it today and been playing it non-stop. must have played for about 11 hours and only on level 6 out of 14.

So much more depth compared to the original.

Think I might got for my first platinum trophy on this game. I've got 80% of the trophies and most that I don't have I can get easy. The feathers are going to be the hard part I think.

Enjoying this game immensely...the starting is a bit slow and i thought wow this game isnt as good as i thought it would be...but once i had got the sister and mother to safety then things start getting a bit more interesting.

Still taking my time though, in no real rush to finish it as ive got Forza3 and COD MW2 that i want to play at some point...plus i like taking my time with this sort of game..took me almost 2 weeks to finish AC1 off and even then i didnt manage to get all the flags lol

So far ive only managed to get one feather and i think thats going to be the most difficult part...finding them and returning them to that chest...will have to complete the game first then go back and finish the bits off that i didnt.

Awesome game though.

Just checked the trophies and I didn't get the "fly swatter" one. Only have one chance in the game to get it also :/

Not sure I can go back lol. Might have to play through it again now.

all those who cancelled their pre-order, order it again. this is amazing. so much more than the first game.

I am loving every second of it. there is so much to keep you glued to the screen.

Yes the start was slow, but now about 6 hours in and in context of what is happening I understand the start more.

Just get it.

I'm really loving this game. So much more content than the first. Graphically it's the same but I couldn't give a toss as they gameplay is so good :)

Upto sequence 4 now or whatever you call em :p

Might give the GF's copy of this a whirl despite only playing about an hour of the first game. I watched her play AC1 at various points including the end so should be fine on picking up the story I reckon.

Finally finished it, for the 2nd time in a row I have more questions than answers.

It was a great game, slightly slow at the start but picks up pace nicely after a couple of Sequences. The Glyphs were one of the more interesting aspects as well going into deep history with them. The story overall was definitely ahead of the one within AC1.

Gameplay seems mostly the same with a few improvements around, the more varied weapons were an excellent addition. But personally I found myself using the 2 blades in combat unless I was against someone with an Axe or Pike. Loved the addition of an economy as well, that was great being able to buy supplies and weapons.

All I have to say is bring on AC3:D.

im stuck trying to climb a tower "as an old friend" i cant grap the ledge above. whats am i doing wrong guys?

Help! I'm stuck.

Spoiler
At San Marco's Secret, I've done the 4 switched but don't know where to go after. When I turn on Eagle vision, I can see a symbol on the middle of the floor, but haven't got a clue what to do

One main trouble i am having, is dropping a main weapon!

When I got my sword taken away near the start, I went out, mauled a few people and took a big hammer, since then I've killed countless folk, stealing their weapons (including the BIG axe from the elite guards in Golden Armor) but just hold them with the hammer being "holstered" on my waist/belt, how do i drop it to take another main weapon? :)

Ok, still not finished the game (But still loving every second), but looking at the achievements list for the 360, where are the achievements for completing DNA Sequences 12 and 13? Seems they skipped them and went straight from 11 to 14!

Having just watched an advert of it (I didn't own a PS3 when the first was released, so well under my radar!) it's gone on my list of games to get - I'll have to make sure the wife is well aware of my desire for it... Santa... :D
