Hello,

I wonder if you guys could recommend me a new Graphics Card to replace my BFG 8600GT 256MB.

I really fell behind on the advances in hardware over the last year so any input would be helpful.

I have a budget of £80

It will be getting used for some light gaming COD MW2, C&C and so on. It will mostly be used for watching films i.e. duel screen one being a 32" 1080p LCD TV.

I really dont mind if its a ATI or Nvidia.

Also card will have to run ok under Windows 7 as I have bought a copy of Windows 7 pro but havent had time to upgrade yet.

My current set up is

CPU: E2200 2.2Ghz
RAM: 4GB Generic Ram
Graphics: 6800GT 256MB
HD1: 1x 1 TB Samsung spinpoint HD
HD2: 1x 250GB Samsung spinpoint
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L
OS: Vista Business 64 BIT.

Are you ok with using a second hand GPU? . . . if so there are plenty of good cards you can get for £50-£80 budget!

Pity you can't access OcUK Members Market yet as there are Radeon HD4850's selling for about £50 from time to time!

Have a peek over at the auction website and see what bargains are knocking about! :cool:
