To be fair I've ended a game 34 - 0 legit. My friend has gotten 64 - 3 before
Although by your description he probably was hacking anyway. What a noob
Playing through SP and how this game got such great reviews is beyond me. IGN is obviously drinking the kool-aid.
Cod4 was leagues better single player. The levels are dumb - nuclear winter chernobyl vs. a strip mall with a McDonalds? Obviously all CoD games are on rails but it feels so obvious in MW2, in MW you really got a feeling of the size of the levels, especially the Chernobyl ones.
No lean, I know we've been over this a million times, but this is criminal.

Loved it. Still waiting for them to make the hardest mode harder though. Sure, being 3 hit killed requires more strategy but not that much provided you know the logic behind cover. I wanted them to remove my crosshairs, and mess up my accuracy. Better AI wouldn't go amiss either.

bought this game last night and finished downloading it today, i bought this mainly for the multiplayer but i had some doubts... been playing this for 3 hour straight. no lag what so ever, fast at finding games. im having a blast!.

Am still trying to rack my brain around these numbers, 97% of the UK sales where on the consoles? We knew that would be the biggest seller but, out of what, 1.5 million sales first week, thats not even breaking 50,000 PC sales week one?
That's because it seems like the only people who bought it are the good burghers of OcUK - and even then, not all of them!
LOLing at the posts saying people are bored of it already. So that lasted what, just over a week?

Thing is, do we really know if this is a good or a bad thing ? Do we have UK week 1 sales of another big PC game to compare it too ?

Anyone else find it incredibly satisfying getting a massive kill streak with various perks and stuff? I had one like this yesterday.
Akimbo Vector - Kills 1 and 2, then ran out of ammo, haha
Knife - Kills 3 and 4
Akimbo Magnum - Kills 5, 6, 7
Predator - Kills 8 and 9
Harrier - Kills 10, 11 and 12
AC130 - Kills 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 etc etc. You get the idea.
It was awesome fun! The knife kills and akimbo magnum bit was my favourite!

What were you expecting to be different?
When I first played the game, I did so on Hardened mode, was not that hard really, and I felt it was a bit short and that perhaps levels were not as good as COD4, however, I have since played again on Regular to try to find the Intel, and am now 38.5% through on Veteran mode... Loving the SP.
The Special OPS levels are a mixed bag, some are straight out of the game levels but some are not, so Im liking it in general.
For those saying it feels like the levels are smaller or on rails compared to COD4... WTF!!! I see no difference in the size of complexeties at all...
In all it feels like a good successor to COD4
Still not played MP, I only have a 2mb ADSL with BT, so high pings are default and reading the post online suggest it would be an annoying lag fest, so may not bother, Im happy to continue playing the SP and Special OPS over and over till I get 100% on it ALL.
P.S. I reserve the right to give up at any point!!
