New Moon

I think for the first time in a long time (Titanic), a film is out where the female population is being mobilised to go see it, not only that, i know a few girls who are going back repeatly. They seen it once but doesn't mind going again with another friend who hasn't seen it.

they live in the nether regions

God i hope they dont live "down there". :p

But i do miss the vampire films like, especially Interview with a vampire. Thats my fav vampire story told from the vampire side of things which was awesome and the cast were excellent imo. Would love something similar in story, cast and dark like that. Unless there is one somewhere but i dont know it yet.

Underworld films arnt bad but not as good because just a action fest.

Van Hellsing was ok but really screwed up and nothing really true on the vampire facts.

I (Male) just watched Twilight on Sky, since i was ill and there was nothing else to do. Strangely, i understand where they're coming from. Not as in how amazingly awesome it is but as in why they like it.

Since i also overheard people talking about it... apparently she gets pregnant? How does that work, what with the whole 'no blood' thing going on with Vampires?

True (and don't forget Paranormal Activity).

I'm getting sick of straight men dominating the market. I have absolutely no problem with a film like Transformers but it really doesn't hurt for something big that is aimed at a different audience to come along once in a while.

Its not like its 50/50 with regard to peoples sexuality, and besides that homosexuality is always going to be something that is not entirely accepted in society. I dont hold anything against homosexuals personally, but I would not want to watch a gay romance, and I can imagine 90% of straight people will agree with me too. The market is simply too small and too risky for it to be mainstream. I'm sure there will be more gay movies, but I doubt its going to change radically anytime soon.

:o Going tomorrow (2nd time) and then sunday as well!
Girls want friends to go with so I figure I'm just being a good friend! :p

Damn. You must really like this movie. What is it that you like about it?

Edward Cullen :o

Lol, it was just really good! Very fast paced....much faster than twilight and much faster than how long scenes drag out in the book! Just action and heartache and amazingness!
The boys are hot too.

This film is gonna make so much money.

Now all they need to do is make a 3rd film which adds that other teeny bopper adonis Zac Efron to the cast, get him to brood about on the screen a bit, maybe take his shirt off a couple of times and whabam ! Highest grossing film of all time ! They could even go the whole hog and really push for billions by getting the theme done by Jedward. Girls all round the country would be so excited by the whole idea that they would have to open thousands of new cinemas just to cope with the demand :)

I think they would gross more if they just got all the males on board.

Alice Cullen and Bella Swan. Jelly wrestling. Naked.

I'm there!

It's funny, the wife has gone to see this twice (both without me thankfully) and is completely torn - she's very much into film, having done filmmaking and screenwriting degrees, so on a technical side she hates it, but apparently her XX chromosomes dictate that she also loves it. :p Likewise, she thinks the books are awful, yet has read the set twice. She's a weird 'un :D

Personally I watched the first half an hour of the first film and switched it off, so much angst it was like one giant episode of Dawson's Creek with a few fangs thrown in. :p
