Found it for £401.35 inc VAT with the same date mentioned. Not sure if we can mention the name (personally can't see a reason but..) but its got a name very similar to a very lucky four leafed plant

They are a respectable company too although obviously no certainty on the date.
I did contact motorola a few days ago and they were basically useless and didn't know anything but suggested signing up to the newsletter. Vodafone have said they're unlikely to have a motorola phone as vodafone and motorola fell out :rolleyes:

The place I mentioned emailed me saying

We are going have stock on the 7th of December, demand is very high so we recommend you place your back order now to avoid disappointment.
We should be the first in the UK to have the stock, all of our milestones will be sim free unlocked and will work on any network.
All back orders will be shipped a day early so you should receive on the day of release.

if it's the same email I got from a certain etailer today, I wouldn't be too worried that they're going to be the only retailer as other will have it too. Every time they've had an 'exclusive' its very very quickly followed by other companies and often for less.

Time will tell, but personally I'd believe them. The MileStone is a nice device BTW, except the keyboard, still not sold on that. Multitouch is kind of under used on it also.

Well one place that had it for just over £400 seem to not show it any more. The other place still show it but for £424.35 when it was originally listed as £440. They still claim stock due Dec 7th.

I've now upgraded on Voda to new 18month contract. Free N97 mini, 300mins, unlimited texts, 'unlimited' internet, free delivery for £24 something a month.
Was paying £33 on old contract for less minutes and texts so pretty good deal!
Just gotta flog the Nokia for bit under £400ish and will definitely pick up the Milestone :cool:

Knowing what we now know of the Droid -- codename Sholes -- the mere mental image of that "Sholes Tablet" that we've been hearing about for a while brings us to our geeky knees. Taiwanese forum Mobile01 seems to have details on just what the Sholes Tablet is all about, and while we'd normally be skeptical to the point of dismissal, the presence of a few believable-looking images has us on the bandwagon. The biggies on the rumored spec sheet include HDMI out, 720p video recording paired to an 8 megapixel cam (which is hopefully of much, much higher quality than the Droid's miserable 5) with xenon flash, and Motorola's own CrystalTalk tech for background noise reduction on calls. It'll apparently be running Android 2.0 -- the presence of BLUR is unknown -- and the screen is a predictably awesome 3.7 inches at WVGA resolution with multitouch support; missing, as the name suggests, is the original's sliding QWERTY keyboard. All signs point to use seeing this in the next few months, so enjoy those Droids and Milestones while you can, yeah?

HDMI out will be amazing if they can accelerate HD video mkv files. Not that desperate to view my own awful pics and vids on other peoples TVs whilst on the move.
