IM GUNA BUY A GTX 260 RIGHT NOW

jordan282 all you got to do is take a look at peoples sigs. if they list an ati as a gpu dont listen to anything that they say.

Jordan I really don't get you. You've had several threads asking about what GPU to buy and have been given good advice in all of them.

You decide on a gtx260 (against the advice of the majority of people in your previous threads) and people tell you to get the cheapest you find.

You then find one for a relatively good price, but decide that it will suck because it's cheap?

That's ridiculous.

@ Jordan: If you're buying now the 4890 offers the best bang per buck, if you absolutely must have a nVidia just get the cheapest GTX 260 you can find.

haha

I do kind of feel your pain, I sometimes find myself floating over decisions. However, it does sound like you're taking it to the extreme now. For what it's worth I would def go with a 4890 for the money... I am in no way a fanboy I couldn't care less

I would plump for either:

or

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-195-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1403

Either one would be fine as far as I can tell. Unless someone more knowledgable has anything to add?

The only thing I would do before ordering would maybe wait to see if anyone with either of those cards could give you some feedback as to any heat/fan noise issues.

Or just phone up and ask Ocuk tomorrow.

Hope this helps :)

It also looks like it's exactly the same card as the sapphire including the cooler so whatever the sapphire sounds like I'd put a few bob on that sounding the same.

Yeah possibly. I freely admit that the lack of brand name would worry me but until there are reviews up slating the product my view is unproven
