E6300 or 955

Hi chaps

Currently using a E6300 @ 3.59ghz with GA-G33M-DS2R but I also got a GA-MA78GM-S2H sat here doing nothing. If I dropped a 955 into the GA-MA78GM-S2H how would it perform against the E6300?

I don't game but do use my machine a lot for audio and video watching with a far bit of multitasking.
