can haf 932 fans be controlled

could i just plug them straight into the fan controller i have coolermaster say the big fans operate at 700rpm if i plug them into my controller will they go the 700rpm if i turn it to max or would they go higher possibly damaging the fans

I have mine plugged into my motherboards chasis fan headers. They go from 520rpm up to around 700rpm, though 630rpm is the highest I have seen them reach off my motherboard. If you use a fan controller to do the job, the max speed they run at will depend on the spec of the controller. a lot only run 11v max so your fans will run <700rpm. I doubt any fan controller will run them beyond spec to be honest.
 
Ive got mine in a fan controller at 450pm~ and they are barely audible yet shift a lot of air.
