Throat Headset for Xbox live!! Anyone tried it?

Officially Licensed Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Throat Mic Communicator Headset - I've just seen this for sale, I can't imagine using it at all!!

anyone here tried one of these?

My friend has used it, It sounds terrible. Do not buy.

Isn't it just a microphone stuffed inside a throat microphone casing , unlike proper ones which are done via vibrations in the voice-box (?) ?

I think I have a new marketing plan for this product :
Officially Licensed Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Rectum Mic Communicator Headset.

Would probably work better down there too.
