Now go back to BIOS >> Jumperfree Config and load the +5% overclock profile . . .

hi wayne its me dan the window man...lol. ...
Lol Hi Dan, didn't expect you to pop up in this thread! :D

Welcome to OcUk forums, please read the forum rules and enjoy your stay :)

Oh and thanks for sorting that screw out, did you do the door btw as its still a bit clunky heh! :p

bare with me dude as I'm just helping little ***** get some overclocking done! :o

working at 20% 1.93ghz 400mhz dram freq and 3:5
That's a 20% overclock under your belt and that's just about as far as you can go with that board heh, lets see a CPu-z screenie please with both the [CPU] tab and the [Memory] tab in the same shot (you can open CPU-z multiple times), then load up Coretemp and Prime95 and run Toture Test >> Blend for a while *or* chill out and do some gaming, see if that clock is stable!

Beyond that I'm not sure if we can go much further because if the FSB gets raised anymore your Memory will be overclocked beyond 400MHz (DDR2-800) which it may not like . . . Sadly the Asus P5KPL-AM EPU doesn't allow you to adjust the memory any slower than what it is so if you wanna continue on overclocking you will need faster RAM £££

Let me know if thats stable and at least we can try to set-up the same overclock manually (i.e not using the +20% overclock profile) . . .

Double oops, did you change the multi back or is that Enhanced Intel Speed-Step (EIST) kicking in? . . . does the CPU multi love up to [x8] when you run prime?

Cool, well this is the forums where I hang out a lot, be careful though if you spend much time here you will find yourself wanting to upgrade! :D

This place is full of hardware addicts who build a new computer every two weeks! :p

Lots of good info, check out the different hardware sections and also you may like the gaming section!

Hope you had a good journey home, loving your work! :)
