Hahaha ok going to get a lot of post saying I’m sad but whatever!!!! :D :D


My first forte into the consol world so am a little excited, I was settled on a PS3 but when out buying the Xbox360 Elite looked much more tempting, I got a good deal so am happy overall!


Now let’s get gaming! :D


Anybody care to recommend some games or have I just about got them covered?? Also has anybody got a gold live free subscription code so I can tryout the Xbox live scene? Would be very much appreciated.

the MW2 would have been cheaper, its n the `when bought with` promotion, should have only cost him 35 squid I think.

You should get a month free when you sign up for live & its the free weekend atm anyway. I probably have a code knocking around if you do need one though (email in trust)
 
MW2 Pre Owned For £42.95 dear god!!!! I've not even seen it new anywhere for more that £40?

Those games should keep you going for a fair while! Might be worth picking up the first modern warfare, Amazing single player campaign.

You should also get a free months live when you crater an xbox live account on the 360. Also got another 48 hour code if you want a few more days
 
Thats some serious gaming, would have only gone for say Fifa and MW2 at the same time make sure you give them all plenty of time because they are all top games.
 
Dont forget he simply has to purchase Gears of War 1 and 2 imo :o

And if you get into online gaming then Borderlands and L4D2 are awesome!


If i hadnt had my 360 since launch and purchased it now, i dont think i would ever finish a game lol. so many quality titles to play from over the years, so little time to do it all in :O
 
Dont buy anymore till you've given those lot a good going over! :D

I got my new Elite couple weeks back with FOrza 3, COD MW2 and i bought Fifa09 with it too. Ive been hammering COD, ignoring the other 2 and yesterday i went and bought Assassins creed 2! Struggling to find the time to play them all properly like they deserve. O yeah i also go Fallout3 GOTY aswell as GOW2 GOTY sat here still sealed. Im not opening either of them till ive completed Assassins Creed 2!! LOL

O btw, get a game from Arcade game section on Live called "Trial HD"....so simple yet quite possibly one of the best games ive played ever!

this is true, i bought my elite about 6 weeks ago for forza 3, then modern warfare came out and i haven't played forza for about 3 weeks now, and believe me, forza is an excellent game.

Also, as mentioned, Borderlands is a good call, and maybe look out for a copy of CoD WaW and fallout 3.
 
Only one thing missing there, a wheel for Forza and Shift. Try and play the lost and the damned first as the ballad is so much better looking you might not want to go back.

That's pretty much the selection I have from an early October purchase except PGR4 was a fiver with the Wheel and I had ODST bundled instead. I was intending to trade in for cash, but MW2 knocked the bottom out of it on release £21>12.

The games you have should see you into the New Year.

WOW what a machine :D Think I have missed the Xbox party by a few years but hey!

Was playing Forza3 and the GTA stories all night, money well spent :)


Had a bit of trouble getting onto Live it wouldn't accept my 48hr trial code I got in GTA so purchased a month using my credit card is this a mistake as Ihave heard stories people keep getting billed? Think I will try and track a 12 month code.

Good buy for the console. You got some shocking prices for those games though! They set you back more than the console!
