Hotfix available for Windows 7 to show DX11 cards as DDI 11 in Dxdiag

Well thats odd - I downloaded it, and tried running it, and I get a message "this update is not applicable to your computer"? Using Windows 7 Home premium edition 64 bit, which is listed in the "applies to" section of the hotfix.

Its not been installed already or anything, as I have the 10.1 "issue" with my 5870. Oh well, it's not as if it stops DX11 working or anything. :D

Did you make sure to click show all versions? By default it detects you using a 32 bit browser and will offer the 32 bit hotfix.

It's trying to be clever and auto detect everything again?

Yup - showed all versions and it indeed had a separate x64 install. Why don't they just show all available anyway with a suggested one.

Installed ok now.
