On L4D1 yes, on L4D2 no. The bot AI for the second is... terrible. This is coming from someone whose completed all of L4D1 on Expert on Singleplayer. The AI can't cope with the crescendo's where you have to actively move forwards, thats 1 thing, but they just seem to suck something fierce in regular play too. The bots in the 1st were far from perfect but these are a huge step down.
 
I think I'll get Resident Evil 5. Was going to hold out till it was mega cheap but it could be a long wait and i fancy playing it soon.

My steam folder is getting bigger every day lol. Going to have to get a bigger hdd for my games at this rate.

Same here. I enjoyed it first time on PS3. May as well have another go and see whether keyboard/mouse is better. :D
 
wtf is wrong with the steam store. I keep trying to purchase Ghostbusters and keep getting this:

"There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance."

It could possibly be because it's a new product. I've never seen it listed before now, I don't think Atari are a full publisher in Europe.
 
It's totally overloaded - not sure why ;)

I'm reinstalling my machine, and even local backups of games won't install because it must try and validate with the Steam servers first - and it keeps coming up with a message saying they're very busy lol :o
 
I brought Dragon Age, Grid and KOTOR. But damn. Is Steam getting hammered? I'm trying to download Dragon Age but I'm getting 70kb/s

I think Ghostbusters is uh... busted. It's yet to be released in the EU on Steam - I think it's just showing up as part of the sale but you can't buy it. Pain in the ass 'cause it's been out at retail for a few weeks now but nobody seems to be stocking it (even Amazon!).
 
A quick look on the Steam forum and its the same thing there for Ghostbusters. Apparently The Witcher had the same problems on the first day it was available in the EU, so i guses Valve will have to extend the offer on that till they can sort it out.
 
Ah yeah. I just removed it from my basket and bought Resident Evil 5 fine. I'm sure we will be able to buy it, just that it is broken at the moment. It wasn't there at 4pm and was added a little after. They would have took it down by now if it was a mistake.
