Booked CBT test next Saturday - clothing advice

ER-6 is a good bike, have ridden the 6-f version quite abit.
Easy to ride, good on fuel, brakes are good, dont know what the wind would be like on that version but you said your not doing a long commute.

thanks for that, I know its not a good idea to skimp on the clothing that protects you. I'll probably end up spending a few hundred quid when I get to the shop- was just seeing if anyone knew of any special offers or good tips getting good value - this year has broken my bank account :)

Sign up to http://www.4theride.co.uk/ they have loads of deals going for in store, used their vouchers quite abit when buying gear, got my kangaroo suit for cheap using it :p

it shouldnt be too windy in built up areas I suppose.

As you sit higher on these bikes does that mean in higher winds its a bit more skittish?

Not usually, high winds are big problem for fully faired light sportsbikes, just on naked bikes it can try to tear your head off at speed on some bikes.

Get one of these, Suzuki RF 600, done a bit to mine but they're nice

I think they're an aquired taste, but rare non the less, and quite cheap.

Never been a fan of the ER-6, i learnt on an ER-5 and hated it, painfull to ride. The instructors had ER-6's but the light puts me off.

I searched for ages for a bike, got a soft spot for Suzuki's though, and id love a streetfighter
