Best music to kill **** to?

Stuff with lots of energy, anything by Bong-Ra, Modeselektor, Nine Inch Nails, Venetian Snares, Excision, Major Lazer, Toddla T, Oneman, Brackles, Diplo, Otto Von Schirach, ****mat, Vex'd, Milanese, the list goes on...

Some good picks (though have to say I find Bong-Ra and ****mat a bit much, tend to leave all that breakcore/raggajungle/hardcore stuff to the youngsters nowadays ;))

On L4D/L4D2? None, hearing the infected (and your teammates) is a pretty big part of the game... listening to music is bringing your team down.

But really you can't kill things to anything less than Rock/Metal.

Rubbish, you can kill things to anything that works for you - had an old clanmate that used to listen to classical music while fragging and another would listen to 80's synthpop stuff, each to their own! To be honest bands like Slipknott and Disturbed are just classic stereotypical 'teenage angst ridden gamer music' imo :P

I tend have a shuffle of a bunch of songs. Stuff like Slipknot, Muse, Offspring, QOTSA, Greenday, AAR, Stereophonics, Foo Fighters (etc). Although these days I tend to find myself listening to the actual game sounds/music, as I need to hear it.

drowning pool - bodies

Soil - Halo

coal chamber - sway

edit: And slayer, metalica, soulfly, deftones, arch enemy, happy tree friends theme tune

I assume this says Kill people? Or am i missing something :D

I suggest Rammstein. Always good for getting in the mood for an early night mass murder...

If thats all that springs to mind when someone mentions Rock/Metal i suggest broadening your horizons slightly...

As has been said, heavy metal, like Breaking Benjamin, Drowning Pool, Soil, Yellowcard, SOAD, bullet, Sevenfold, Disturbed, Dope etc. Frank Klepacki is worth a look as well

Drum and bass tends to be very good for it as well (See Prodigy, Pendulum, similar)

It's a good idea to stick the soppy power ballad type song in there as well, it calms you for a bit so when Die MF Die comes back on you get a hell of a boost :p

Ingame sounds if online, so you know where people are.

As for the rest - it depends what music you like :p

Same for me tbh. But usually I don't bother with music when playing an FPS or something that requires a lot of concentration.

Boom Boom Satellites are a favourite of mine when I do feel like listening to something whilst playing.
