Summer Jobs in Spain

Hi

I'm due to finally start Uni next year and before I do that I've been looking at hopefully spending the summer working in Spain. I was just wondering if anybody has done anything similar or has any advice?

I'm not really sure of the best way to go about it. I was thinking of booking a weeks holiday and then spending it looking for a job and accomodation but I was also wondering if there are any companies that arrange jobs/accomodation for you? I know there are for things like Camp America, but obviously they are more organised.

Any help/advice will be appreciated :)

The only places likely to organize anything in advance would be British owned holiday companies, so you would be a tour rep. Doesn't necessarily mean 18-30 style though, you could simply be meeting family's, getting them to their hotels and then checking up with them and helping them book trips etc.

Camp America and other such trips are a lot more rewarding and worthwhile than holiday reping in Spain though.

Going over there on holiday and attempting to find a job just like that will be pretty much an impossibility if you don't speak Spanish

You could get a job working in an hotel or something like that or attempt to get something through a UK based agency which hires people to work in Spain for the holiday season (I'm thinking like loads of people do in the alps and many of them can't speak French)
