Dell Studio XPS 16

Hello mate, I would recommend upgrading to the 4670 if you plan on any gaming.
I love my sxps 16 but it has one issue..Heat!
It runs hot internally and externally so I would recommend a laptop cooler (I got the zalman nc2000)

Use quidco for 5% back plus there is a 5% code: SGVBQ9263$QNTM

Any other questions just ask

Also I will be putting mine up in members mart soon as I am getting an i7 version, if you are interested let me know and I will get it listed

how much are you planning on selling for ? (dons i know this isnt members market just wondering :) )
 
I was going to list it anyway when my i7 version arrives but I will list it asap and let you know so we dont break any rules

The £819 spec is the same as mine, but I upped the graphics card, HDD to 500gb and added the TV tuner.

Heat's not an issue with mine, even when gaming - it gets warm but it's not bad at all.

The screen, even the WLED, is glorious and it looks lovely too.

Buy through quidco for a bit of cashback!

You won't get far with India on that front. My 'account manager' is only able to hold the buy now pay in 12 months deal. Put a spec in your basket and then call them - they can view it. In my experience they are not too technical...

Trouble with the i7 models is they only have wireless G and no TV tuner option, two things I'd like... :(

Erm it says my expected delivery date is going to be 01/01/2010

I am waiting 6 weeks for my new one :(
ordered 10/11/09 expected 22/12/09
Phoned them last week but they were completely usless and said my only choice was to cancel
 
Probably won't make a difference, but i got my Acer Aspire 6935G today and the build quality is brilliant. Tons better than i was expecting even though i know Acer have improved.

Just to let you know if build quality is on your mind. The newer models like the one you listed will be very good!

I nearly went for a Dell but didnt think I'd be able to stand the waiting time. I'm totally conditioned to buying and receiving next day delivery. Sometimes wish I had had the patience though as they are great specs for the price.
 
I dont have any patience, i think i have checked the order status page at least 20 times :p

But the pain will be worth it in the end :)
