Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 music off ?

Hi all.

Is there anyway to edit a file to disable the in game music as on some missions like spec ops ones id like to be able to hear the enemy a bit better if u know what mean like foot steps.

Wouldn't it be easier to just turn it off in the audio options?

Yes it would but unless i am going blind i don't see the option for it in game lol

its one of the first things i wanted to do when i go the game

in the config rename miles to anything else you want

Agreed..the music is very annoying! to turn it off rename the miles folder found here: Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\miles

renamed it to MilesOff and the music's gone
